The staff and program developers have a combined experience of over 40 years of providing security consultation, security policy development, physical security training, armed and unarmed security, executive protection services, surveillance training, security surveys and realistic scenario-based training. This experience allows us to customize training to your specific needs.

Urban Defense offers public and private classes for defensive weapons training. Our public classes have a unique scenario-based approach for learning. Our training focuses on what we believe is the most important part of the equation, which is your MIND, not the weapon in your hand. The tool in your hand can be part of the equation, however in most cases it is not the solution.

Brandon Salazar

Brandon Salazar’s extensive background includes high-risk combat training for over 25,000 Army Special Forces Soldiers, Naval Special Warfare personnel, Air Force Special Tactics Operators, Special Operations Marines, and Federal Agents. As a former Reconnaissance Marine with special operations experience across multiple continents, Mr. Salazar has conducted personal protection operations in high-threat areas and served as a platoon marksmanship instructor for NATO small arms. He holds multiple NRA Instructor Certifications and security licenses in Florida.
